Kick-Off Meeting Overview
The Kick-Off Meeting, the project’s first training school, took place last December in Strasbourg. This event brought together the entire consortium, PIs, and DCs in one place for the first time.
The training school lasted three days, during which doctoral students were given an overview of all the areas covered by the consortium.
The event was divided into three parts.
On the first day, the doctoral students attended lectures by Alberto Moscatelli (Nature) on Publishing & Open science, Tobias Bauer (AchiverLab) on First steps as a DC, project management in PhD education, Emilie Moulin (CNRS) on the Training Aspects of MonaLisa, Nicolas Giuseppone (CNRS) on Research Integrity and scientific misconducts, and finally Nelly Gautier (CNRS) on the MSCA green charter.
These lectures are part of the cross-disciplinary skills training they receive in the MonaLisa project.
The next day and a half were devoted to scientific discussions, during which the PIs from each institution presented their research topics.
